ASUS Launches Formula Series Graphics Cards in India


ASUS India recently launched its its Formula Series graphics cards in Indian market.The Formula Series graphics cards has an aerodynamic design looks similar in shape that of a racing car and has a special dust-proof fan to improve thermal efficiency by up to 33%, keeping the card cool even during graphically intensive tasks.

The ASUS Formula Series graphics cards come with built-in double cooling solutions to cope up with the demands of high performance gaming. They increase overall heat dissipation efficiency by up to a whopping 33% in comparison to reference design cards. On top of this cooling capacity, Formula Series cards are also up to 12.4dB quieter than cards with generically designed fan-sinks, a 30% improvement, rendering them perfect for users who require maximum cooling without excessive fan rotation noise.

HP is updating its business laptops with Penryn processors as its rivals Sony, Acer, IBM Lenovo, Toshiba and Fujitsu.
HP 17.1"Compaq 6820s, 15.4" Compaq 6720s and 14.1" Compaq 6520s notebook PCs are based on Intel Santa Rosa Refresh platform and are powered by fast clocking Intel Core 2 Duo T9300 2.50GHz (45nm) processors, up to 4GB of RAM Memory, DVD burner and ATI Mobility Radeon X1350 graphics card.

-Actually, each of these business laptops comes with variety of options from different processors to different HDDs to help the user to choose a budget laptop (affordable Penryn laptop or a typical budget laptop) from one of these laptop lines up or the most expensive configuration with Penryn processor.

There's no word yet on a Linux version.


However, Linux is includeded, by way of SplashBox's ExpressGate quick-start mini OS, which gives you access to the net after 12 seconds or so.
