It was Advanced Micro Devices will release a new batch ofaccelerated processing units known for a while, from somereports, and major events happen eventually.Advanced Micro Devices officially launched its newestaccelerated processing unit, which is built on 40nmmanufacturing process.
Their name is C-60, E-300 and E-450, the second because it was seen as a part of things like the CR430 laptop MSI.
C-60 (TDP 9W) is a dual-core model with a frequency of 1.0GHz and Radeon HD 6290 integrated graphics (267 MHz).
Turbo Technology core is present, which means that the clock speed could jump to 1.33 GHz (graphical jump at 400 MHz).
E-300 also dual-core model, with 1.3 GHz and Radeon HD 6310graphics on a 488 MHz (not to mention Core Turbo made).Bobcat and GPU cores together consume 18W.
Finally, E-450 has the same 18W TDP as above, two cores at1.65 GHz and Radeon HD 6320 graphics on a 508 MHz (600MHz Core Turbo).
"Today's PC users who want stunning HD graphics performanceand accelerated with the all-day battery life and that's what AMDFusion APUs provide," said Chris Cloran, vice president andgeneral manager, Client Division, AMD.
"With the new APUs, we bring the premium features for entry-level product that lets users get a richer computing experience."
Support newcomers DDR3-1333 RAM, 1.4z HDMI, DisplayPort+ + technology (connection to an HDTV or monitor with HDMI orDisplayPort) and up to 12 hours of battery life for mobile platforms resting (four more than the previous generation),although the configuration actually will have the final decision on how long it lasts a notebook or netbook.
OEMs have already received their orders, so the laptop,all-in-one system, and desktop based ultrathins they should appear soon, if they have not.
