Intel, the world's largest supplier of central processing unit, always working on some new CPU or chip set, so not a big surprise to hear that the pair of them set to begin next week.
When it comes to the CPU, their makers have to ensure they are ofgreat performance, a variety of sizes and socket support.
This is because there are many different computers and electronics that use such chips, with an uneven performance and power requirements.
Because of this reason that there are so many series of CPUs,such as Celeron, i3, i5, Core i7, the next Cloverview (discussedhere), etc.
It turns out that the Celeron line will be updated soon, in about aweek or more, according to the latest report on the subject.
One of them, called the Celeron 787, is a single-core model that will replace the Celeron 763 in front of a low budget.
As far as specs go, it has a clock frequency of 1.3 GHz and 1 MBL3 cache memory.
Virtualization support is also present, such as the integratedgraphics cores compulsory, its turbo maximum frequency of 950MHz which (the base clock is 350 MHz).
Meanwhile, the Celeron 857 is a dual-core processor running at 1.2 GHz and is designed with 2 MB L3 cache memory instead of just one.
Furthermore, although the basic speed of the built-in GPU is identical to the one above, the maximum is higher (1 GHz).
Both members of the Celeron line using a BGA package and froma variety of ULV, so they consume very little power, in this case17W.
Finally, they support DDR3-1333 memory and will be launched inthe third quarter of 2011, which means that their arrival could be asearly as next week.
