Sony Vaio L-Series All-in-One PCs to Reach US Shores Shortly

Sony Vaio L-series all-in-one computerAfter making its appearance earlier this year on European soil, the Sony Vaio L-Series all-in-one computer will also makes its entrance in the US market where it should become available for pre-order starting with July 13.
The system is powered by Intel's second-generation Core processors and users have the option of choosing between various Core i5 and Core i7 chips, ranging all the way up to the Core i7-2630QM.This is one of Intel's most powerful mobile Sandy Bridge processors to be released until now and it packs no less than four processing cores clocked at 2GHz (2.9GHz in Turbo mode), 6MB of Level 3 cache as well as support for the Hyper-Threading technology.Users can pair this fast processors with up to 8GB of DDR3 memory setup in a dual-channel configuration and select models even feature a GeForce GT 540M dedicated graphics card with 1GB of video buffer.Other configuration options include various HDD units with a maximum capacity of 1TB, a DVD or Blu-ray drive, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi and Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity and an HD webcam with a backlit Sony Exmor image sensor.All around the edges of the Vaio L, users will find a wide selection of ports and connectors, including two USB 3.0 ports, an HDMI output, a FireWire port and a multi-format card reader.The touchscreen display measures 24-inch in diagonal, sports a 1920x1080 Full HD resolution and is flanked by a touch-enabled bezel providing various extra controls such as zooming, on-screen keyboard activation, windows closing and others.As mentioned earlier, the Sony Vaio L-Series all-in-one computer will be available for pre-order starting from July 13.Its estimated release price is set at $1,420 and Sony also plans to offer a wall-mounting option that will be sold separately.
